Jenny und Manolo sind seit 1991 die guten Seelen ihres Lokals "Jardin Tropical", tropischer Garten.

Es liegt inmitten der Ansiedelung Charco del Palo, unweit von Mala im ruhigen Nordosten der Insel,
wo romantische Fischerdörfer wie Perlen an der blauen Küste liegen.

Die Spezialitäten: Seezunge, Kanarischer Eintopf,
frisch gefangener Fisch und kanarische Kartoffelchen (papas arrugadas) sind weithin bekannt.
Mittwoch ist großes Abend-Buffett,
Donnerstag Paella.

Die Preise sind während der Umstellung von Peseten auf Euro nicht gestiegen. Der Service ist familiär und freundlich, Sonderwünsche werden immer gerne berücksichtigt.
Sprachprobleme werden mit viel Humor und Esprit gelöst.

Zu jedem Hauptgericht wird Salat als Vorspeise gereicht.

Hauptsaison ist Juni bis Oktober.
In der Nebensaison (z. B. Ostern und Weihnachten)
ist die Auswahl ebenso reich, Plätze sind dann oft auch ohne Reservierung frei.
Obwohl das Lokal in der Nachbarschaft eines der schönsten Naturisten-Dörfer Spaniens liegt, wird erwartet, dass die Gäste bekleidet zum Dinner kommen.
Traditionell wird die Hauptrmahlzeit abends
zwischen 18 Uhr und Mitternacht genossen.

Jenny and Manolo have been the lively spirits of their restaurant "Tropical Garden" since 1991.

Located inside the "urbanisación" of Charco del Palo near Mala, in the calm North-East of the island, where fishermen's villages, like pearls, are lying by the blue Atlantic coast.

Lenguado, Potaje Canaria, fish of the day, and small (sweet) canarian potatoes (papas arrugadas) are well-known meals of special delight.

On Wednesdays you may enjoy a grand buffett,
on Thursdays Paella is served.

Prices have not been risen through the change from Pesetas to Euro. Service can be called familiar and very friendly indeed, special wishes will be gladly managed.
Possible language difficulties will be faced with esprit.

Salad is served as an appetizer to the main menue.

Main season is between June and October.
At Easter or Christmas, service is at the same exquisite standard, you might get your seat without reservation, then.

The restaurant is located close to the most interesting naturist villages of Spain, nevertheless you will be expected decently dressed for dinner.

Traditional dinner time is between 6 p.m. and midnight.

Nach etwa 5 Stunden Flug erreichen Sie den Flughafen Arrecife.
Dort können Sie einen PKW mieten oder sich im Taxi
zu Ihrem Urlaubsort bringen lassen.
Empfehlenswert ist der Nordosten,
wo Sie im Bungalow wohnen können.

You may rent a car there or be driven to your lodge by taxi.
We reccomend the North-East of the island,
where you may live in a bungalow.

César Manrique war Grafiker, Bildhauer, Architekt und Landschaftsplaner, geboren in Arrecife, international in Spanien und Übersee tätig,
prägte das Landschaftsbild auf Lanzarote und setzte sich nachhaltig für Natur- und Landschaftsschutz ein.

César Manrique, born in Arrecife, was a famous artist and architect, working in Spain and overseas.
He managed to create a unique symbiosis of architecture and conservation of the countryside. The "Cactus garden" is one of his last works.

Lanzarote was shaken and completely re-built throu a six year-lasting period of vulcanism in the 19 th century. The island was hereby enlargened by a fifth. Vegetation, therefore, is rare but beautiful.
